Winchtruk are the ultimate in mobile ladder order pickers. They are supplied with a manual safety load brake winch that provides effortless, safe, vertical load transfer for loads up to 60kg. Carrying items up or down the ladder is eliminated creating a much safer product. The lift table winch is situated at the platform enabling complete coverage from floor level to 3.6 metres. An ergonomically designed control handle raises the ladder to the mobile position and provides easy steering for repositioning. Release of the control handle automatically returns the unit to the default position. In the default position, the ladder is completely stable with all four feet in floor contact. Weight shift as the operator moves about the ladder has no effect on stability. With the control handle actuated, the operator is set back from the access platform, allowing a normal walking gait. In this mode, the unit may be used to move a load horizontally without the need to transfer to a trolley. Fitted with four quality 100mm rubber tyred castors, Winchtruks move easily to the pick position and the directional locking feature of the rear castors ensures straight line tracking under load. Meets or exceeds the performance requirements of Australia New Zealand standard AS/NZS 1892.1-1996
