These Container dock levellers with a capacity of 11,400kg are designed to be free standing in front of the dock supported on fabricated steel frame. The wide configuration allows trucks with containers or tailgate loaders to be able to facilitate these dock levellers.
The 4270mm long container dock leveller option can be used to accommodate B-Doubles as well as most other truck configurations. If B-Doubles are to be serviced, the dock height should be at least 1600mm high to enable the rear of the front trailer to back underneath the platform. This type of dock leveller is fitted with a control box that will enable holding the dock leveller and lip in an UP position.
Heavy cast in steelwork securely anchored at the edge of the dock is required to support the container dock leveller.
Two variations of control are available (H1 or H2)
H1: - Single push button controls.
The platform is raised to its full extension before the lip automatically extends. The platform then lowers onto the truck bed with the lip extended.
H2: - Independent Load Lip push button controls.
The platform is raised to a height where the lip can be extended at any point, rather than at the full extension of the platform saving valuable time. The two push button controls give the operator full control over the platform and lip.
